No one wants to relinquish power in the workplace. Unfortunately, you will sabotage yourself at work if you don't relinquish power and let go of your ego, especially to authorities in a greater position of power than you. Don't be afraid to relinquish your authority or power to people who hold superior positions in the workplace than you do. If you try to become the boss before it is your time, then this will surely sabotage your work.
Men often have a problem with taking directions or instructions from women. This can cause great distress in the workplace and also make the male look like a complete buffoon when a man acts superior to a woman regardless of her acumen or position. I've got news for you, women have taken great strides in the last few decades and there are many women who hold powerful positions in the workplace.
If you value your job, you will not let your ego interfere and you will let the woman assume her position of power and take instruction and direction from all of your superiors. Don't sabotage yourself at work by being out of touch.
